OSKAR, son of Cervelo in his first ever tracking trial with (Hobart Canine Obedience Club with owner, Simone Haigh

Today Ch Ghostwind Oskar Dela Renta (AI) ET (Oskar) participated in our 1st ever tracking trial (Hobart Canine Obedience Club) under judge Mrs Denise Crystal (Vic) in which we received a PASS grade. I have a lot to still learn but we had a fantastic day, even if it was a little chilly in Ross. 

A big thank you to my track layer Kellie and also for your support and guidance. I am looking forward to our next trial which is significantly harder! I'm sure I will eventually work out how to read Oskar! I am so proud of how far he has come over the last 8 weeks.

Oskar and I are celebrating by thawing out on the couch with Linc and Leo 😂

Feeling very proud of a Cervelo daughter!!! 😀 Georgie Ranson + Lottie "Ghostwind Louise Vuitton (AI) Cervelo daughter, attended and competed in their 1st Weimaraner National in Victoria, Australia. Lottie was Graded: Excellent !! and was 1 of the 8 out of the 21 Weimaraner bitches in her Intermediate Class who received this grading. Overall, Lottie placed 7th out of 21 !!
CONGRATULATIONS to Georgie + Lottie on your fantastic results at your first Weimaraner National !!!👏🎉🎉🎉

Travelled to Ross today for the Gundog Club of Tasmania Inc. Group Championship Show. Lottie "Ch Ghostwind Louise Vuitton AI was awarded Bitch Challenge and R/up Best of Breed in the PM show under judge Dr Linda Beer (VIC) then went onto win

I am also proud of Rose's son,Cervelo BIS/MBISS/CAN/AM/INT GCH RoseWin Ansons Cervelo for winning Select Dog and Best Stud Dog in the Weimaraner Association of Canada Specialty. And won Group 2 with a strong competitive sporting group ( total 62) in Renaissance Dog All -Breed Championship Show .Cervelo also won other ribbons, BOB's and Selects since the WAC Specialty was part of a the 6 All-Breed Shows / other Specilaties. Congratulations to Michelle Yeadon, Jenn and the rest of the Team for all of your handling and care of my weims during the marathon dog showing of 6 days !

Yesterday "Ch Ghostwind Oskar Dela Renta (AI) ET" (Oskar) and I ventured to a windy and cold Hobart for the combined breeds AM and PM shows. Oskar came away with 2 best of breeds under Guy Spagnolo NSW (AM show) and John Sheppard NSW (PM show) . I am really proud of how he performed yesterday especially in the wind, usually he loses his composure when it's windy! I think he and I are starting to work out what we're doing... Well, every show we learn something new and that's great!

Then today we went to our last day of the introductory tracking course and learnt about track laying. Thank you to the Tas Dog Training Club for running such a great course, especially thanks to Chris and Pat for all the work you have done putting it together. Also a massive thanks to Kellie for all the guidance and mentoring for tracking that she has provided. I have learnt so much and I look forward to learning more! Only a few weeks until the 1st tracking trial. EEEEEEEK!!!!

Great day for WAC members Greg Newton,Bronwyn MacDonald and Julia Maguire (L-R in photo)!

They all attended the Ontario All Pointing Breed Field Tests in Norwood, Ontario.

Vedder (handled by Bronwyn) finished her FDJ earning her final leg this morning. 
Vedder is BBPIS CKC GCH/UKC CH Wynder’s Beneath The Waves CGN TT RN FDJ (this title also made her eligible for her Versatility title with WAC).

Woody (handled by Greg) earned his first 2 legs towards his FDJ.
Woody is BPISS AKC/CKC CH Oakpoint’s Knock on Wood AM/NRD, AM TD

Bentley (handled by Julia) earned his first leg towards his FDJ today!
Bentley is AKC/UKC CH CKC GCH Colray's Straight To The Point RN CGN TT

So proud of the Velociraptor today. She got 2 more passing scores today, which was one more than she needed to earn her Field Dog Junior title. She also now has enough titles and points to earn her Versatility title - which I just need to send the paperwork into. !
