Wild weather today at the final Track & Search trial for the year (as you can see from my glorious hair). Rain, hail, wind and sunshine, we had it all today.

Ch Ghostwind Oskar Dela Renta (AI) TDX TSD ET passed his track 4 with a rating of GOOD under judge Necia Lynch (VIC). Oh boy did he make me work for it. Pulled like a freight train on slippery wet surfaces, went on a detour. But we managed to find track layer Mark in the end.

Thanks again to the TDTC for another great trial.

A big thank you to all the judges amd experienced trackers this season for their advice and feedback regarding Oskar. He has achieved rankings of: GOOD x2, VERY GOOD & EXCELLENT in our 1st track and search season with very limited training. I am so proud of how Oskar has taken every challenge in his stride. Regardless of the result, he worked hard at every trial and really did impress me with his determination.

FYI the name of the track Oskar did was called "balls balls balls"... very appropriate 😂

Vedder and I had a great day yesterday at US Weimaraner Nationals just playing performance and having a day off from conformation.
She was entered in both rally trials at the novice level and came away from the first with a nice score of 93, earning her 1/3 legs required for the title.

The second trial she blew me away, coming in SECOND in her class by time, with a score of 99!! (A perfect score is 100) This earned her second leg of her title.

Such a good pupper. Now we’re going to have to come back to finish that off! LOL

Vedder, Cervelo daughter has added her first US Title at US Weimaraner Nationals!

Wahoo!!!! Vedder started off Nationals week with a ton of fun!! We ran in brace in Novice Shooting Dog Ratings and put up so many birds on our run with our brace mate.

A great day at The Weimaraner Club of NSW October Specialty. Honoured that Christian - Lukedom Lacroix Sweetie AI won the beautiful new CHAMPION PUPPY IN SHOW trophy in memory of Irena Schneider. Christian was also BABY IN SHOW and 1st in 3-6 month Sweeps 🏆

Today Oskar and I headed to the Ulverstone Kennel Club Track and Search trial under judge Christine Hayes (SA) where Oskar passed his track 3 with a rating of VERY GOOD! He will now be formally known as:

Man, I really love this sport. It is so challenging but so rewarding and Oskar just loves it! He also got to have a play in the dog park and then a nap sitting up.
