Had a wonderful day at CPAT Trick Trial

held at Quercus Park.

So proud of how Lottie performed considering we hadn’t done any real trick training since Agfest Trick demonstration back in May

I didn’t have any expectations just to go and have fun with Lottie and spend the day with an amazing group of people

Lottie came away with another qualifying score in Novice (only 3 more to go for another title )

Huge thank you to Bec Stokes , Lani Smith and all the people behind the scenes to make the trial happen

Also a huge thank you to all the sponsors the trophy table looked amazing

I strongly encourage anyone that loves spending time with their dog and like minded people to give tricks or any dog sports ago. The camaraderie between all competitors is so wonderful to be apart of

MDKC Scent Detection Sanction match! Vedder

 

Super fun morning at the MDKC Scent Detection Sanction match! Vedder and I haven’t done a lot of scent training, but it was supporting my local club and learning what a trial is like so I was like let’s do it!!!

She had what would’ve been qualifying runs in instinct and in novice interiors.

Unfortunately novice containers I called it too early and exterior it was raining and we just haven’t done a lot of training.

To say Vedder’s indication is subtle is an understatement . We will work on building more confidence and a stronger, more obvious indication and definitely be back. It’s a totally different thing from the team sports we’re used to - this is really a dog led sport which I think Vedder will love. I certainly had a good time.

 Had a fabulous day yesterday at the Working Dog Club Inc Championship Shows.

Absolutely blown away with our results and so very proud of Lottie
