MESMERIZED by a squirrel.....

A douglas squirrel checking out the birdfeeder caught Cervelo's attention who was so mesmerized and intent on watching the squirrel's movements I was able to walk all around him without breaking his attention. Too bad for Cervelo the squirrel was outside and good for the squirrel who was able to scamper along the patio rail without worrying about a Weim chase.

Cervelo the toilet paper roll retriever......

Cervelo has decided his new chore in the house is to fetch the toilet paper.

Wide fit with good jaw extenstion.....

A bit of a mouthful but fits !!! just.........

Had to take a side view to show how wide Cervelo's mouth can get .

Was able to take several pictures of Cervelo proudly carrying the toilet paper being able to hold it in his mouth for several long minutes.

Now look at me I can still carry the toilet paper roll while standing ontop of the coffee table. But notice, the roll is now only being held by a corner versus being in the mouth itself. Jaw must be getting tired from working overtime !!

Cervelo was even able to carry the toilet paper around the house for a good length of time. Probably would have kept the roll to l himself had I not very carefully removed it from his mouth. Cervelo has proven to have a ' soft ' mouth which is good when doing field work with retrieving.

Cervelo's play aftermath....

Surveying the mess from a good vantage spot, what else, the coffee table of course.

That was a busy play, now to take some time off to rest. The pillow was just too inviting for Cervelo to resist. The pillow conveniently was already on the table so why not use it.

Cervelo likes to ' tunnel'

Under the blanket...

Out the other end....

Is there anything behind me...

Oh, someone is watching me ...

After all that work, time to stretch out and relax.
A man and his dog, C-dog (Cervelo)

Have to fit the ball into my mouth somehow. Letting the tongue hang to the side works well!!

How Cervelo views the outside

The trick here to see all that you can is to get as tall as you can or as high as you can

Tabasco sauce experience....

Cervelo had torn his stifle which is a soft pad just above the paw while running in the bush. To try to keep the wound clean and control bleeding the paw had to be wrapped in a bandage. As anyone knows, how long does a bandage stay on any dog's paw? Not long. To discourage Cervelo from tearing the bandage off which happened several times I decided to try putting tabasco sauce over the bandage to discourage him from removing the tape. Cervelo persisted with his licking of the bandage.

Still licking his bandage....

Ohhh..I don't think I want to lick the tabasco bandage anymore!!

Thats it. Forget licking the bandage. Maybe the tabasco sauce didn't taste that good afterall.
