Vedder + Hunter in show this weekend April 22/23

Best of Winners in the regular show this afternoon for Vedder today for 3 more points (8 class entries - 6 girls, 2 boys)!!! Hunter got Winners dog in both shows for a single point each time! Vedder is now at 7 and Hunter is at 4 (he's gotten points every time he's been entered). Vedder was reserve winners bitch this morning for the sporting group specialty, with 4 class bitches entered.

Morning - group 1 breed show

- Vedder went Reserve Winners Bitch.

- Hunter went Winners Dog for his 3rd point, owner handled by his other mom Lisa, her first time in the ring and his third!

Afternoon - Regular show

- Vedder won her class against 2 other junior puppy girls, then takes Winner's bitch (total of 6 girls). She then went on to take Best of Opposite Sex, Best of Winners over her brother, and Best Puppy in Breed. It was a total of 3 points earned in this show.

- Hunter again took Winner's Dog for his 4th point!

The entry was 11 Weimaraners!!

So proud of these puppies!

Vedder now has 7 points, and all have been multiple point wins. Hunter sits at 4, and has earned points each time he has entered the show ring!!

Vedder is Wynder's Beneath the Waves CGN and Hunter is Wynder's Yellow Ledbetter CGN.

So proud of Boo Boo! Limited work on birds . Once as a puppy at one of our club training sessions, then again last week. Had a beautiful stop to flush, bird started running ( surprised as it was SO WET out) fired gun, chukka flew away. If I could have only had a camera as his head popped up over the grass cluster. His eyes were so big, alert expressions as if to say Whoa! That was incredible. Followed by another find in which I did not see the point. Seen by the important one, the judge.
