This is a special edition of Cervelo's last Christmas, as sadly I know this will be his last Christmas with us

Weim Christmas photos have always been a tradition in our family, from puppy to senior so am so happy Cervelo will again celebrate Christmas with us one more time.

Cervelo did enjoy himself, especially the treats he received for being such a willing + happy participant in our yearly family tradition

Bronwyn + Vedder ( C-dog daughter ) celebrating Vedder achieving her Canadian Grand Champion Bronze title

A  photo to celebrate Vedder achieving her Canadian Grand Champion Bronze title back in August, but she was so hot and grumpy that we just didn't get a good shot of her lovely expression. This past weekend I asked Anne if we could try again and we scored this lovely shot of my girl and me.

Sweet Vedder will just be taking occasional spins in the ring as a Veteran and Altered, but most of our focus will be on performance now - we are starting our scent detection journey, hopefully will explore hoopers, and we are still doing agility!

Just love this girl.

  think September was one exciting month, Lars and I purchased our dream trailer and said goodbye to our beloved pop up

Ranger and Gunner did amazing in their hunt trails, a beautiful wedding was had, a friends birthday was celebrated, family day out apple picking, it was by far our best summer yet for our garden and we hatched our very first batch of baby quail!! What a crazy month!!

SEPTEMBER 2/24 GUNNER Rosewin’s Time To Cruze FDJ FD NS WDJ NTD ITD got his last leg for field dog completing his field dog title NOW moved up to field dog advanced,

 What a long weekend! A huge thanks to German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Canada for hosting the pointer hunt trails this year! And to all the judges and for letting me appreciate judge along side you!

The boys did better than I could have expected. It was a busy weekend and couldn’t have done it without my assistant lars.

Gunner finally got his last leg for field dog, this is a special one for us as we started in the game late but he is definitely a favourite to work with in the field, especially when I see him come running up a hill with his ears flopping carrying the bird to me all happy.

Also with Gunner completing his field dog title, I can now be a judge once I apprentice a few more dogs!!

Ranger also got his last leg in field dog junior with a highest qualifying score of 99/100, and the next day he earned his first leg towards his field dog title with a score of 96/100 again with the highest qualifying score. It meant a lot as Gunner finished his field dog title and Ranger earned his first leg following in Gunners foot steps.

Ranger also earned two legs towards his water dog junior title, next year is the year to get that last leg and into water dog like brother Gunner!

I did allow Gunner to move up to field dog advanced, we tried it out for the first time and although we did not pass it is a stepping stone to keep going!

And last but not least, a huge thank you to Kelly Marcoux for letting me run Rubi in Field dog, she did amazing and of course got two more legs to get her field dog title and highest qualifying score!!

 Ventured down to Oakville today for the all breed and Weim Regionals.

No love for Mako in the all breed but she was showing like an absolute toad so . Guess she thought the cooler weather was an all access pass to being a

At the specialty, Vedder won Veteran sweeps (), and then won Brood Bitch I think for the 4th year in a row. Mako showed better in the specialty, but still no love. Marlowe won Select Dog with Mary-Ellen for some Silver points. Vedder was not impressed with us taking pics at the end.

Thanks to everyone that helped with the chaos, thanks to Cheryl for staying with Marlowe to show in Brood Bitch with his Mama and Stud Dog with papa Kruz.

So proud of our results under judge Annette Midgley (TAS) Lottie passed her Track 7 (Urban Day Track) the 1st of 2 tracks towards her Track & Search Champion Title. I have included the rules for the track for those interested to know what was required
