Yesterday "Ch Ghostwind Oskar Dela Renta (AI) ET" (Oskar) and I ventured to a windy and cold Hobart for the combined breeds AM and PM shows. Oskar came away with 2 best of breeds under Guy Spagnolo NSW (AM show) and John Sheppard NSW (PM show) . I am really proud of how he performed yesterday especially in the wind, usually he loses his composure when it's windy! I think he and I are starting to work out what we're doing... Well, every show we learn something new and that's great!
Then today we went to our last day of the introductory tracking course and learnt about track laying. Thank you to the Tas Dog Training Club for running such a great course, especially thanks to Chris and Pat for all the work you have done putting it together. Also a massive thanks to Kellie for all the guidance and mentoring for tracking that she has provided. I have learnt so much and I look forward to learning more! Only a few weeks until the 1st tracking trial. EEEEEEEK!!!!
